Payroll Administrator – Manchester, NH

Summary:
Provide comprehensive administrative assistance and general record keeping. Compile and record employee time and payroll data. May compute employees’ time worked, production and commissions. May compute and post wages and deductions or prepare paychecks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance and 401(k) deductions.
• Poll electronic time clocks (Visual software) and review the downloaded information for completeness and accuracy.
• Contact various department supervisors for any missed times.
• Process weekly transfer of payroll data to Kronos.
• Compile internal management reports from payroll system software.
• Prepares information for outside auditors.
• Administrative support as required.
• Open and sort mail.
• Performs work requirements in compliance with approved GSM safety procedures.

Qualifications/Skills & Abilities:
• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Functional in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Quick Books
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information which may include personal data
• Must act in a professional and organized manner at all time.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work effectively under stress, meet short deadlines, and take direction.
• Ability to coordinate multiple schedules and produce accurate work despite frequent interruptions.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Position Type/Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 7 am to 4:15 pm Friday 7am to noon.

 

Production Control Planner – Nashua, NH

Summary:
Following direction from the Production Control Supervisor, the Production Planner will plan and prepare production schedules for manufacture of the company’s products by performing the duties outlined. The Production Planner has the authority to make day-to-day decisions related to the timely and cost-effective planning of the production of all products, materials, goods, and services at the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities may be assigned as required.

• Generates and updates work orders and production reports.

• Generates lists of required materials, tools, and equipment.

• Generates purchase requirements for materials, tools, and equipment.

• Generates all production related reports and summaries as required by the company’s organization.

• Generates purchase requisitions and work orders based on system-generated requirements to support on-time shipments while maintaining low inventory values.

• Sees that the defined sequence of operations is followed.

• Established and maintains an accurate and timely Line Of Balance (LOB).

• Confers with department supervisors to determine the status of assigned projects.

• Expedites operations that delay schedules, and alters schedules to meet unforeseen situations.

• Performs work requirements in compliance with approved GSM safety procedures.

Qualifications/Skills/Abilities

Education and/or Experience – 5 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
APICS certification required.

Prior experience with a fully integrated MIS/ERP system, with Visual manufacturing experience a plus
Computer Skills – Working knowledge of MS Office and Windows-based computer programs; ERP/MRP based company-wide sales order administrative systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills – Excellent verbal and written communication skills; listens to others without interrupting; keeps emotions under control; remains open to others’ ideas and tries new things. Ability to communicate effectively.

Language Skills – Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and draw and interpret bar graphs.

Welder/Fabricator – Positions in Manchester & Nashua, NH

Summary:
Welds metal components together with brazing and variety of arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as machine parts, plant equipment, mobile homes, motors, and generators by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
1. 5 years’ experience with GTAW and GMAW welding. In addition will be able to qualify to AWS D1.1 & D1.2. Standards.
2. Work is performed using oxy-acetylene torches, hydraulic presses, portable jacks and machine clamps.
3. Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. standing, walking and close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth, and ability to adjust focus is required.
4. Welds metal parts together using both gas welding or brazing and any combination or act welding processes.
5. Performs related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding.
6. Repairs broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increases size of metal parts.
7. Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.
8. Locates and repairs cracks in industrial engine cylinder heads.
9. Must be flexible enough to work in all areas of operation per the direction of the Supervisor.
Education and/or Experience – High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and a combination of three years related experience and/or training.
Computer Skills – Strong computer skills. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Mozilla Thunderbird.
Mathematical Skills – Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as dimensions, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry and trigonometry.

 

Mechanical Assembler Level A / Group Leader – Nashua, NH

Summary:
Assembles Electro/Mechanical products, such as handling devices, robotics, mechanical assemblies, partially or completely, working at bench or on the shop floor. Leads and coordinates activities of workers engaged in assembling parts or assemblies into units.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

1. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, sketches and written instructions. Must have the ability to build to assembly drawings, and follow process sheets.
2. Will perform basic quality assurance functions to ensure sub-assemblies meet
specifications.
3. Basic hand and power tool knowledge and use.
4. Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners as required by drawing specifications.
5. Operates drill presses, arbor presses, or various other machines to assist in assembly
operation.
6. Recognizes potential quality deficiencies in assemblies and notifies Engineering department of such concerns.
7. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
8. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
9. Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
Education and/or Experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and five or more year’s related mechanical experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Group leader or Lead mechanical assembler experience preferred.

 

Electro/Mechanical Assembler – Nashua, NH

Summary:
Assembles metal products, such as handling devices, robotics, mechanical assemblies, partially or completely, working at bench or on shop floor by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

1. Positions parts according to procedures or knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
2. Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
3. Operates drill presses, arbor presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation.
4. Recognizes potential quality deficiencies in assemblies and notifies supervisor or the Engineering department of such concerns.
Education and/or Experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
